Hail, winds as strong as 70 mph could accompany severe thunderstorms, but storm’s path and frequency uncertain

Forecasters said Chicago area residents can expect at least one storm system to move through the area, beginning as early as 6 p.m. Another round of overnight storms, if they materialize, could bring 70 mph winds and hail.
