Lake Forest Academy teen connects higher COVID-19 mortality rates for those with the sickle cell trait: ‘My true passion is using my love of numbers to help other people around the world’

What started out as something "pretty interesting" for Lake Forest Academy student Joe Hulsizer resulted in a significant finding published in a peer-reviewed journal with NorthShore University HealthSystem Research Institute.
