Theaster Gates' Rebuild Foundation's latest projects — the transformation of St. Laurence Catholic Elementary School building into an arts incubator for creatives and entrepreneurs, and 1.3 acres of vacant land along Kenwood Avenue between 68th and 70th streets into Kenwood Gardens — was showcased to the public on Sept. 2, 2021.
