Memorial ceremonies at the sites of the 9/11 terror attacks

Memorial services take place at the Pentagon in Arlington, Va., New York City and Shanksville, Pennsylvania on the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021. Twenty years after the worst attack on American soil, the loss of nearly 3,000 people was remembered in events across the country.
